![]() ![]() Dharker studio negligee patch Patch#Non that it’s a bad thing, but the change from a somewhat comedic narrative of the first chapter of the saga is too evident: in two episodes of Love Stories it’s difficult to say if the developers are making some sort of social commentary or not, one is explicitly about an abusive relationship, and only one out of four episodes is not dealing with somewhat difficult themes.Īs the game has been the first with “explicit adult content” published on Steam (the first Negligee had a patch downloadable on the developer site, Dharker studio, to be installed manually to change the censored Steam version to the uncensored one), probably the developers wanted to avoid a storyline that featured women enjoining sex in a fun and uncomplicated way, or at least this is the only reason I can imagine for the change of course. ![]() ![]() The first thing I noticed is the fundamental difference between the first Negligee and Love Stories: if the tone of Negligee is very lighthearted, Love Stories simply isn’t. I read that there was a little commotion in the community because the content was not supposed to be yuri (lesbian) but mostly hetero, but I really didn’t mind, as all the four stories feature a female protagonists.Īfter almost a year after its publication I finally managed to write my review. So when I read that this prequel, called “Negligee: Love Stories” was being developed, I was immediately interested in buying it on release day. It was also my first visual novel I bought after a really long time, and I truly loved every minute of it. I was immediately captivated by the wonderful art by Kopi Anget and by the fun lighthearted tone of the game. I bought the first Negligee, a yuri visual novel on a Steam sale about two years ago.
